Originally titled Fucking the Police, Complete Abandon has screened at Cannes, Jamerican Film & Music Festival, The Kennedy Center, NewFest, Hollywood Black Film Festival and was one of 12 short films selected to screen at FESPACO in Burkina Faso, Africa.
Academy Award winner Harry Cheney (Bram Stoker's Dracula) lauded Fucking the Police (Complete Abandon) as the "best script" and screenplay writer Anna Thomas (El Norte, Frida) said "You (Kirk) write better than most Hollywood screenwriters." |
